Please come to El Pueblito from 8:00 am to 11:00 every 2nd and 4th Wednesday to volunteer. You can just show up! We need lots of hands to bag produce, pack boxes, direct traffic, and load into cars.
We need a smaller crew in Talpa on distribution day afternoons from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. We also have boxing mornings to pre-pack boxes at 9:00 AM on the Tuesdays before distributions. And we often do portioning evenings - we portion eggs, flour, rice, etc. --and we have some pizza and conversation as well. Another volunteer option is to be a delivery driver on the Monday mornings between distributions. We deliver boxes of food to homebound clients.
