Please come to El Pueblito from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon every 2nd and 4th Wednesday to volunteer. You can just show up! We need lots of hands to bag produce, pack boxes, direct traffic, and load into cars.
We need a smaller crew in Talpa on distribution day afternoons from 2:30 to 4:00 pm. We also have boxing mornings to pre-pack some boxes at 9:00 AM on the Tuesdays before distributions. And we do portioning on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 5:00 PM - we portion eggs, flour, rice, etc. --and we have some pizza and conversation as well. Another volunteer option is to be a delivery driver on the Monday mornings between distributions. We deliver boxes of food to homebound clients.
